


Leon Moore, the developer of Fairvue Plantation, is a lifelong resident of Gallatin , Tennessee along with his wife and two children. Over the years he owned and operated businesses including hotels, restaurants, construction, development, banks and reservation services. He has built over 100 hotels throughout the country and has built, owned and/or operated the Shoney's Inns, Guest House Inns and Suites, Captain D's, Marriott, AmeriSuites and other name brand businesses. He is also noted as the renovator of the Union Station in Nashville .
In 2002 Mr. Moore acquired the property of Fairvue Plantation and started work on the golf course, club and completion of the development. Every detail was built to a high level of finish and quality. Fairvue enjoyed great success with hundreds of members joining the club and selling hundreds of lots in just a few years. He also completely renovated the Fairvue mansion and horse barn.
In 2005 Mr. Moore started the development of Foxland at Fairvue Plantation constructing another 18 hole golf course and building the main boulevard and several phases of the project. Since then Foxland has sold over 100 lots and is continuing to develop additional phases including waterfront condominiums, a marina and additional amenities.
Mr. Moore has since phased out the other businesses and focuses entirely on the development of Fairvue Plantation. He currently resides in the Fairvue mansion at Fairvue and oversees the development on a daily basis along with the Development Manager Chris Wicke and the Club Manager David Beard.
