Meandering gently along the northern edge of Nashville the Cumberland River blooms dramatically at Old Hickory Dam into Old Hickory Lake. Fairvue Plantation lies along five spectacular miles of its shoreline. The lake is a year-round haven for boaters, fishermen and water sports enthusiasts.
Managed under the careful stewardship of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Old Hickory Lake is a unique preserve for both fish and waterfowl. In fact, Fairvue Plantation residents share the Lake with egrets, herons, geese and several species of ducks.
